My name is Cedric Sarigumba. I’m a software engineer living in Cebu, Philippines, with my wife and two sons.
I write about software engineering, philosophy, and anything in between. I’ve spent years helping teams build better systems and move faster, and along the way picked up lessons that went beyond code: about work, choices, and figuring things out as I go.
Writing things down is how I make sense of what I’ve learned. This blog is for anyone it might help, but mostly it’s for myself to look back on 30 years from now, and for my sons to know me a little better than a father usually gets to be known.
I use AI to help proofread these posts; the thoughts and experiences behind every one are entirely my own.
Outside of work, you’ll find me cycling or somewhere outdoors with my family.
