About this blog

This blog is about programming, philosophy, or any interesting things I want to share. I write down what I’ve learned from building systems and making decisions, and document knowledge for others to learn from, and for myself to look back on 30 years from now 😂

About me

I’m a software engineer. I live in Cebu, Philippines, with my wife and two sons.

I’ve spent years helping teams build better systems and move faster. Along the way, I picked up lessons that went beyond just code: about work, choices, and figuring things out as I go.

I write about software engineering, philosophy, and anything in between. If something here helps even one person solve a problem faster, that’s reason enough to write it down.

I use generative AI to help proofread and improve the articles on this blog. I believe in being transparent about using these tools. They help me communicate my ideas more clearly, but the thoughts and experiences behind every post are entirely my own.

Outside of work, I spend my time cycling or somewhere outdoors with my family.
